Cookies

One key, orc:display-prefs, holding the display currency and the distance unit you chose. It is read by JavaScript on the page and never sent anywhere. Clearing site data removes it and nothing is lost.

This exists because the build is a static export with no server to hold a session. In the live product these preferences move into your account row, and this key is retired.

Strictly necessary, so you stay signed in and cannot be impersonated: a session cookie, a CSRF token, and a country-and-currency hint so prices render correctly before you log in.

There will be no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Where we measure anything, it is first-party and aggregated, and it is disclosed here before it ships rather than after.

Every modern browser will clear local storage and cookies for a site on request, and the site works without them. Nothing on OneRoofCars depends on a cookie being present, because losing your preferences is a much smaller failure than being tracked without knowing it.
